An association, not an institution
The Living Museum Neuchâtel is run by an association. A director, a committee, and a team of volunteers who hold it all together: welcoming, workshops, logistics, communication, fundraising.
It is a small structure, and deliberately so: we would rather have a place on a human scale, where faces are recognised, than an organisation that runs without anyone knowing one another.
What the team needs
Most of these roles require no artistic skill at all. A first conversation commits you to nothing.
Welcoming and being present
Being here, opening the door, offering a coffee, showing where the materials are. No artistic skill needed: a warm presence is enough.

Running a workshop
Sharing a technique, a practice, a craft: painting, drawing, writing, photography, ceramics, music… You suggest, we organise.

Communication and photography
Writing, photographing, filming, keeping the social channels alive, always respecting people and with their consent.

Logistics and DIY
Collecting furniture, putting up shelves, repairing, transporting. Hands are as useful as ideas.
